    wait, im a little confused. Are you gonna run it stereo 1ohm or bridged 1ohm? since its a two channel. Just curious cause usually you dont run two channel amps at 1ohm bridged when its your own stuff.

    i would just check what the deck distorts at with track 2 on the other pre-outs first. then set the sub out level to match using track 1. Simple edit: clarification

    absolutley, this and recievers that had Tape-in and tape-out and using an external 10 band eq on those options. Also, kenwood home revievers and how so many of them mysteriously had the left output quit for some reason.

    all i was saying is be careful when saying "distortion" , if its square call it clipped, cause distortion can be use too widely as a term to say a signal that is altered from the original. Not all distortion is bad, but all clipping is.

    lol, i have 4 p2 8's on 1500 in my pickup too. but its a single cab, and the subs are pissed. Set my gain with -2.5db tone. Of course im at .5 ohm. Hows the 8's handle full tilt madness in his ride?

    i actually lke these alpine type "S" coax's. they dont have a tone of midbass but idont have to EQ them much at all and they are very easy on my ears.
