    What's wrong with it. Did you blow it or jus the spider came unglued or? we might be able to giv you other suggestions if u cant find spiders.

    Are you stuck on that subwoofer and amp selection? What is it going in..and what are you planning as far as a box.

    No kicker doesnt..or wont sell you a recone. Fix my speaker/PSI does only 3 inch coils if i remember right. Look on ebaby for a 2inch coil that meets the specs. Buy a cone that is about right and go for it. IF you really want a comp that bad. But IMHO Just get a new sub. Probably less than a recone from PSI or building one yourself. As kicker will probably tell you. They are "disposable"

    Why not powder coating? Shop around find a deal and for about 100$ you can probably get em done. Regular paint looks bad IMHO. I plastidipped mine to avoid the hassle of removing and mounting tires again. Eventually Im getting em powder coated black.

    Ninja'd ^ I agree with Kranny. Or you could build a box on the smaller end thats still ported. Usually manufacturers give you a range like 1.5-2 or 1-1.5 or 1-2. pick the smaller side of the range. Worked great for me when listening to Hardcore all the time. GOt more output than sealed but stayed tight and punchy for the double bass.

    Looks about right per RF's specs online. Another member I'm sure will chime in on what they recommend for port are etc. Someone with more experience.

    I think it says 4.2 but I think its before port is calculated in so its volume is like 3.something I think.. By looking at the measurements provided.

    How warm are they getting. Mine always got a little warm but not HOT. I was running 1000 or so to it. SO you should be golden with a AQ1200 and 2 of em. I have an email from sundown somewhere that says it ok if it gets warm but if its hot to the touch its no bueno...and that they have actually taken the sa-12 to the point of smoking and then the coils still checked fine with a dmm.

    hmmm... and I would assume its the other way around because it knows you are using two ports. But I dont know and ca give you a definitive answer either. ninja'd but looks like i had the right idea .

    sell em on craigslist. Get 2 E12's. Have someone on here design a ported box for you. Find a person or shop local that has a dd-1 or O-scope..get your amp tuned. Be happy and louder than those 15's crammed in there. /thread

    I know I figure they shouldn't be to different though. Sundown quoted '10-32' actually so even better Yea not a big difference but thats great price. Under 200$ is awesome.

    Bassbarbie has the V2's. Just a FYI...at least I think. You got a good deal man. Arent recone only 40-50$ for those little guys. SO 200$ you got 2 new V1 sa-8's and a box. Good shit.

    Car acoustics are a bitch. Friends car loses output when you roll windows down. My truck gets louder front windows down only. Open doors output drops...sealed output drops. Rear window open output drops. Only driver side window down is louder than both front windows open. If i play with my windows up and down it seems to be loudest witht the window on drivers side half way up...all others sealed. You just have to figure out where you are the loudest and go wtih it.

    Doesnt bother me any either. We used to hike alot and I could mow right through it and not worry. Every once in a while I would get a little itch but I think it was more of being hot and dirty than the poison ivy. That being said I dont purposely rub it on myself. I knew a kid in sschool that would brag about it not affecting him. Will one day he rubbed it on his tongue. Sure enough he had a reaction and his tongue swelled and so did his throat. To the point the paramedics were called and he was incubated(Proper spelling?)

    Will the 4K is giving them a little over RMS still... So you shouldnt have any problems driving them. My only question would be how tall your box is going to be for all 6 18's to fit in there and be ported.

    you're recommending an amp that will output twice as much power as the sub is rated for. yeah thats smart Rated for yes....but real world it handles it just fine. If he wants to play it safe he can get D4 and run it a 2ohm.
