  1. Just get some of that battery corrosion preventer from autozone and rub a little on the post, its probably cause by moisture. I wouldnt worry too much.
  2. If i were looking at a new deck i would look at the pioneer deh80-prs cant beat it in the price range.
  3. Different strokes for different folks. I mean honestly if you had sq related questions you probably wouldnt get many answers here. But if its a question of how many alternators can I stick in the engine compartment of a 92 astrovan, this is the perfect site.
  4. Diyaudio.com also has alot of people that build amps on their forums.
  5. Even if my blazer runs at 14.4v? Yeah because that falls into the 12v battery charging category. A 16v battery would require about 17v or more to charge it.
  6. Shouldnt make a difference because the head unit voltage isnt affect by the car being off or on.
  7. Port length looks pretty short to me, the one im building called for 110 square inches at 22.5" length. But mine is only for 2 13.5" inch subs.
  8. Aircraft stripper also works, i guess thats why its called aircraft stripper.
  9. I show a 4" port as being 12.56 square inches and 2 3" ports as being 14.13 square inches.
  10. If you have a dmm you also may want to verify the ohm load is the same for both subs after you finish wiring them in parallel. I think though if the sub can only handle 600 watts rms, at 2 ohms the amp supposedly puts out 1200, at 4 ohm the amp puts out 600. I would wire series parallel for a 4 ohm load. Oops forgot they were dual 4 ohms, pretty much wire in parallel then to 2 ohms and be careful volume knob.
  11. Nice computer, didnt even know they made a 1000w power supply. But its been awhile i guess since i bought one.
  12. may try ebay. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=1997+cutlass+supreme+passenger+window&_sacat=0&_odkw=1997+cutlass+supreme+window&Model%2520Year=1997&_osacat=0&_dmpt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&Make=Oldsmobile
  13. Yeah a woman should never leave a purse in plain sight in a car, even in a decent area. You can probably find a window at a junkyard. Installing it will be a bitch though.
