  1. Calling that a mary kay car is like calling a pastors escalade on 30's a church vehicle. Slap a little door sticker on it and write it off on income taxes.
  2. Look like the motor was over tightened perhaps.
  3. It's a CEA Comp. amp. If he has the electrical system to supply it, why wouldn't he see it? The more power you put to a sub the more heat and resistance gets created.
  4. Stingray hide? Were they out of whale nutsack hide or something?
  5. I also think 3" ports are too small, i would go with 4" at least.
  6. You could always just buy the automotive paint and clear and do it yourself. May be a 5 footer but who cares.
  7. yeah kindof like oldschool drag racers that uncork their exhaust at the track, when its time to go home they cap the header back off.
  8. Or run a mono amp for the sub out, and a 4 channel for the front and rear, and just use the componet crossovers. Or yeah you could get a line driver/ crossover and run 3 amps.
  9. You could probably make the largest recommended sealed box and have a port you can cap off, im sure a large sealed box would fall into the small ported box specs.
  10. If $500 is your budget i would definately check out craigslist, you can really cut your costs.
  11. I think hes just wanting to know about brands he can afford, not the best ones out there. yeah infinity front and back should work fine. just look on the speaker or the box and see what your rms is for each set, then add them together.
  12. 1000 watt would be 100 amp fuse. probably a little extra for max power.

    Skar 1500.1 guts

Pretty beefy looking amp, strange looking power bus.
  14. I dont like the new style of craftman ratchets, the old ones would last forever, the new ones seem to have gear trouble after a couple years. If sears carries husky I would pick that over craftsman.
  15. I have the millermatic 220/110 mig welder and love it but the harbor frieght one should be fine if you are just going to use it for little fixes here and there. And 100 bucks is supercheap so why not. I have never tried to weld steel without gas though, it may be the ugliest non penetrating welds ever, but who knows lol.
  16. thats a tough one man. You need to make that decision on your own I think. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080312221703AAict6E
  17. It's pretty heavy gauge steel. I'd honestly say it's about 3/16 to 1/4" thick. Ok maybe not 1/4" but it's a toughly built box. I'd hate to cut a side off, BUT I'll DO IT DAMN IT! I'm just being silly now! Sorry guys, I'm in love with my design and I want it to work! Thats probably not steel, im guessing aluminum. Goodluck though man you seem excited about it so im all for it.
  18. How is it running after this happens? was it running smooth or missing? Normally if its a fuel issue it will have black smoke if it gets flooded. If your fuel pump wasnt pumping im guessing it wouldnt have been able to rev at all. Any check engine lights on?
