  1. Thinking about trying to build a quadchopper. Been real impressed with them lately.

  2. I am on the way home from a track meet a truck was tail-gaiting us. That isn't all, it was a black F150 WITH ITS LIGHTS OFF. It finally passed us, texting, so I got his locate number and Valle it in as he snuck up on people. After 10 miles on the phone I see those lights pulling him over. Dude was deadly, especially at night...

  3. Google acquired Titan, maker of aerospace drones. Facebook was interested in buying Titan as well, for $60 million. I just want to know how Facebook only offered $60M for Titan, but bought Oculus for $2 Billion (1.6M in FB Stock).

I could care less. They can shove their $ where the sun don't shine for all i care.

  4. Think of it like this, if it has been clipped anywhere along the line of recording to being played through your speaker, it will still be clipped. All tuning does is prevent further distortion/clipping of the signal. However, if the signal is clipped before getting to your amp, it will continue to be clipped.
  5. If there is no signal there will be no clipping. When the kick hits a signal is sent to the amp to play that note. When that note is amplified pass what the amp can cleanly do it will turn on the clipping led. When the kick stops and the signal being sent is either of less voltage or nonexistent the indicator will turn off. In Steve's videos (unless I haven't seen some of his latest ones) he send a continuous 40 Hz tone to the amp. Music is dynamic and not always at the peak voltage that it can be.
  6. Clipping won't necessarily make your voltage drop. You also won't hear the clipping when it first starts. You will have to have a fairly large clip in order for that to happen.
  7. The surface area on an L5 15's "dust cap" (or whatever it would be called in that design) compared to the surface area of the dust cap on a SA 12 is significantly smaller. Larger surface area allows for a faster transaction of heat. This may be why you didn't feel anything. It is also possible that underneath that eye-catching cone there is a real cap that absorbs the heat and nothing is felt on the cone.
  8. This is normal for any subwoofer that has an air vent on the back of the motor. The dust cap pulls in and pushes out the air around the coil. As the air passes that hot coil it heats up, it then hits the dust cap and transfers some of that heat to it. Don't worry about it.
  9. Is the grave yard fore-shadowing something there?
  10. Google is trying to trademark the word "Glass" with over 2,000 pages to be sent to the US trademark office, because of Google we will all have to drink from melted sand-based drinking conveyances.

  11. The highest notes on any musical instrument is approx 2kHz. Above 2kHz are the harmonics which decrease in energy at approx -6dB per octave.

  16. Just the general consumer becoming aware of the products they are investing in. If it is a reputable company they will have to do nothing different, but those that are the ones that pray on the ignorant will be exposed.
