DC Audio Trunk Build 50.8db

Recommended Posts

All about bonding to the pillar.

Otherwise shit lets go and cracks start.

For me this has been wayyyy better than drilling 3000 holes and hoping the glass soaks thru.

Very quick and easy way to do it.

I like to wrap the whole piece when I can. transitions from the glass work the the plastic can be a bitch as well as more expensive with filler types that will bond to the plastic. It's also less sanding, and I am lazy and like less sanding / shaping :D

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

Thanks guys! Makes sense to me. Less hardener, I never would've thought. I think that was my first set ever too. So I was obviously just learning. Sometimes I'm guilty of trying to get it going to fast, maybe too much hardener. I'll keep these things in mind with this set I'm working on. Hopefully I can get them in and fitted soon . Got some sanding to do.

Ok back at it! Lets see these things done!

This is all I have for an update. I lowered the tweeter edge down a little bit and added more glue to where I wanted them to dry. should be good to go for when I get off work
