BEEMDUB
My box is a double baffle flush mount and air is leaking around my subs..( I know I should have put down weather stripping or somthin before I put the subs in ) But is there a solution I can use to seal off around them without taking the subs outta the box? It is a total pain in the freakin ass to get them out especially now that the box is in the trunk...Any body know anything I can try to do to seal it off without it looking as messy as ducktape? MrFree
Ok do you have all the screws in it as possible...Did some of the screws not grab or something. If I was you I would take it out and fix it the right way,But if not unscrew all the screws and turn the sub then pre-drill the holes again and re-screw it to a new spot so all the screws grab.Or take some glue or caulk and go around it then smooth the edges? Mr.JaunDurfle
I am having this problem too. I think I'll go with BobbyG2's suggestion. Thanks. Beemdub, I know how you feel... I just built my box and have my subs pointed towards the floor, so taking mine out is going to be a pain in the a$$ too, but you need to do it right!
