Its either blow through a shit load of money on a range day or pick up a 22lr and bang out for 500 rounds at 20 bucks. I just havent decided what way i want to go. I kinda like the thought of going out and picking off some squirrels or something with it as well but that limits me to bolt action in pa. My local gun shop does have a colt/umarex m4 ops 22lr in stock. I can also take a trip next week and pick up a bolt action. my only issue is the bolt action is half of the m4 style. So I guess my question is does anyone have any hands on with a 22? any recommendations. One of the pins that pulls the next cartridge in to place often wears down (the non-ejection side IIRC) and eventually needs to be replaced. My dad has a S&W m&p15 22 that is buil out just like an ar15.
