do you think you can fit 3 15's between the wheel wells?

that would be pretty sick

Standard non step side truck is like 49 1/2" so it can fit. you would have no room for a port baffle of box like this ________ or you could do the baffle this way \__/

My 1997 SIlverado had 48" between the wheel wells in the box.

A piece of 3/4" MDF is 49" not 48" which is how wide my box is. I have less than 1/4" on each side of the box to the wheel wells.

No worries man, not arguing. Mine was 48", measured multiple times. Kept my ATV back there and it rubbed on the sides. Then had a trailer measured exactly the same, same thing. Then got MDF (49" as you said) and believe it or not didn't fit. I'll see if I have pics.

EDIT: Not that this photo proves anything but I find it interesting that some are wide enough and some are not.

The wood is not flat because it did not fit, would have been hella better if it laid flat. oh -well

Agreed. oddly enough, 2007 Tahoe, all interior panels in, carpet etc. and the panels do come down inside the wheels wells. Granted this is newer than we are talking about but the MDF sheets @ 49" wide exactly slide right inbetween WITH the interiors panels and carpet and all that stuff in...

Sorry to hijack
