And if they do and want to trust a 16 yr old cocky clueless little kid that's on them. I doubt they care if a song is clipped similar to TeamHT. He knows it's clipped but chooses to play it because he likes the songs or whatever. I'm sure he's smart enough and familiar with his equipment to know when to back off. Decaf Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 I'm not sure why this even matters, if it wasn't for a few people hammering and repeating to be careful of the music you play the entire audio community would think any and all music is clean and safe to play. His stuff isn't that bad, not sure where the idea that he has mega clipping comes from. So to reiterate and hammer the same thing over and over again, red on audacity is not the be all end all notification of a detrimental song, it means a song has either reached or gone past 0dB any frequency from 0-40000. the important thing to remember is that the signal given to the amps is crossed over for any speaker in a car system, this means the combined signal strength decreases and the resulting signal will usually not be clipped once the amp amplifies it. Run any of DJSNT or my music through audacity's HighPassFilter, 80hz@-48dB... then look at the waveform. that is what matters. whether its sinusoidal, the resulting amplitude, and the amount of harmonics left present (2f or 3f typically)

I didn't say one bad thing about decaf, I have lots of decaf on my ipod...I personally think there is more quality in DJSNT songs though, especially his newer stuff.
