ginster19
I think if teachers had guns that schools would be more protected. The teachers would have to go through background checks and training like every other person getting a gun. It would be the teachers responsibility to keep it safe and away from the children like in a locked drawer or cabinet. I say Yes!
ProMaxx316
I went to a Technical school and when fights in the school were a big deal, including the rival High school and trespassers a state trooper or two was patroling the school everyday. That help the issue very quick. I think instead of teachers, have guards patroling the area. Kind of like how banks got armed guards when the money truck is coming. If it's worth building, it's worth over building.
Omega5002
No, absolutely not for the teachers, I've met some crazy teachers with the capability of snapping, especially in High School, and adding a gun to the mix would cause more trouble. Just add more police officers or guards to the school, since they are trained to use guns. 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
OrionStang
I was just telling my wife the same thing Nate said. One way in, one way out with an armed guard or even deputy on duty. Then stupid fucking pussies wouldn't have access to the children in the first place. Fire doors of course in case of emergency. sprkn_ranger
I think N8's idea should be mandatory for all schools. And no, I do not think teachers should carry guns on campus. kingsuv
I'm with N8, Teachers are a no. It's difficult enough keeping them from touching little kids. If they can't keep their moral compass straight with shit like that, then they don't need to have access to even a bigger accident waiting to happen. I do believe there should be some sort of protection on every campus. Someone with real training not some rent-a-cop. The logistics of most campus settings needs to be addressed. Not only for events like what happened, but for all the other crazy little events that don't make the national news. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. There are some that I would not want to carry(the ones that are way past retirement). But with my High school campus consists of four buildings, it would be nice just to have one or two teachers packing in each. 95% of the male teachers that actually hunt, so they would know how to handle a gun and etc. There are a few female teachers that I would trust carrying as well. Edit: It would also detour the shooter if he knew that there were guns in the room he was going to enter. Honestly just having a security guard is just like having cops. They aren't going to be there the second the shot is taken. But a teacher with a gun will be '01 Dodge Stratass Sealed Trunk Build Log 2008 Honda Fit Sport Build Log On 10/3/2013 at 10:00 AM, ROLEXrifleman said: Anyone who says they knew everything they wanted out of life at 19 can go suck a bag of dicks cause they are lying to themselves or brought up in a cult. CLNSHVNnDRAGGN
I don't think all teachers should but I think select individuals within schools should. Those individuals selected should be the only ones who know. They should be required to take additional training beyond what it required to carry and they should be required to take additional training every year and maintain accuracy standards. In other words they need to know what the hell they are doing with their weapon. Doing it this way would keep from having known, armed, individuals targeted first in situations like last week. I also think the country needs to follow Michigan's attempt at allowing CCW holders to carry at schools. www.facebook.com/BILLatDivineCreationsPhoto He was taunting me. n8ball2013
the only thing wrogn with what i proposed is someone will say it violates their rights and makes them feel like they are in prison or something. Who cares about violating my rights as a gun owner though. Or it will cost to much money. How about we stop giving money to egypt and pakistan and take care of our own.
