i would not mind running some of there elite amps..Heard one guys system with that 4000 elite amp with 2 15 inch orions and they were getting it..

That's why they don't deliver.

Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait.

You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start :D

I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.

A friend of mine has a pair of the MTX Terminator 10's in his car with some little MTX amp

It hits surprisingly well for what it is... unfortunately he's indian so he only listens to punjabi music...

I ran a pair of 5500 12's and then switched to a 9500 15 from MTX and both were fantastic pieces of equipment but as stated their prices kept going up while the product quality diminished...

I still think their 9500 series woofers are bad ass I just wont pay their prices when FI,DC,AA,DD etc have products cheaper than will run over top of them

I used to run the old Thunder 1501D amps, kick ass for there time. I'd still run em, but there too big compared to the RF mini's.

Last thing I remember them doing was using the Xtant technology, and with that I was out.

It's funny how solid their 8000/9500 Thunder woofers look but their frequency response is only down to 31/32 yet their Road Thunder can drop to 26/27 and the Terminator can drop to 24hz. This is for the 12" versions of the woofers

The 15" 9500 does go down to 24hz though yet the power rating stays the same as the 12 at 1000rms. The 15" 8000 is funny b/c the Dual 2 says 32hz and Dual 4 says 33hz.

My buddy wants to redo his system and was thinking of mixing and match 5 diff 10" subs that he has but I'm like dude just go with 4 of the same sub, he was thinking MTX since that's what his amp is

I have ran a lot of MTX amps in the past, power rating per price point and CEA certified, while always testing higher than they were actually rated. At the time, upper 1990's and early 2k, you could get a lot of good power from them for the money, but not compared to the brands out now,

Hopefully they will reconfigure the pricing structure and start making some serious stuff.
