Someone will oppose the EO I mean hell isnt that what checks and balances was established for so some jackass like BO cant just run around doing as he pleases I know what will happen were going to have another civil war thats whats gonna happen cuz alot of people aint giving that right up
baaudio Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 i dont even own a gun of any kind, and am not planning to own one. but this shit is getting really ridiculous. i really feel like Obama is over reacting to the whole situation. In the event that guns ARE banned, what does he do about security for himself? are cops not going to be allowed to carry firearms at all? even if they do, what keeps some maniac from jumping a cop and taking his gun then going and shooting a bunch of little kids? this shit has probably been happening for a while and the government just doesnt let it get out in public. 2012 was a fucked up year for crazy incidents but i feel like thats only because the media exposed so many of these unfortunate events. maybe its just me, but i dont think that guns are the problem. its americans not having a harsh enough consequence for their actions. bring back the death penalty for PROVEN murders and i think it will calm some of this down. jail has gotten too comfortable in my opinion so people arent as scared of that consequence. Was never in to hunting or sport shooting but in the event the shit does hit the fan it might be a good idea to get a gun to protect you and your family. The media is their best weapon. The media is what blows things out of proportion and they use that to their advantage. Take, for instance, the fact that two of the parents that spoke out on CNN for the Sandy Hook shooting were not parents of students there at all. In fact, they live in Florida, and were paid for being on CNN, and are very active anti-gun activists. The woman that showed is, believe it or not, the same woman acting as the lawyer for The Dark Knight movie theater shooter.
