JohnnyGunz
Check your fuses or even bypass it to see if there is something wrong with it as a test. some time fuses pop without physical breaking it might be intact slighty. try replaces that fuse on your main power run to the back and what size is it ? do you have a 4 channnel amp ? it happen to my friend... the fuse was not broken completely killing his amp pull.. he replaced it and was fine Haven't checked the fuse yet, good idea. May want to make sure your alternator is actually doing what its suppose to and that your yellow top is still good. You shouldn't be having those problems with a 240amp alt on a 1500w amp unless you got it wired to something stupid low I'm gonna bring it to my boys house later today or tomorrow and see what its cranking out. Both the yellow top and alternator were purchased within the past 2-4 months How is this a Skar issue? Because I was wondering if anybody else has had similar issues with either the SK1500.1 or the VVX10s
JohnnyGunz
How is this a Skar issue? Also, I've been through numerous amps/subs and never had an issue until I put in Skar Audio subs/amp.
Agreene
i myself have a skar 1500.1 there super efficient they draw little amperage then other 1500 watt amps, something is obviously wrong as stated. just putting it there that the 1500 doesnt take to much power. but yea check your fuse also give us some voltage readings. MrSkippyJ
i myself have a skar 1500.1 there super efficient they draw little amperage then other 1500 watt ampsYou know you just totally contradicted yourself right? An amp drawing more current then other 1500 watt amps being super efficient is nothing to brag about by any means. LOL I think he is trying to say they less amperage than other 1500 watt amps. White Lightning
A high output alternator is absolutely useless without something to charge ... Step one in a system is adequate power and electrical ... No need to trouble shoot anything until you get a second battery in that system so the alternator will operate properly ... TaylorFade
You say you're having voltage drop... what's your voltage dropping to? What's it charging at? How do you know the subs are clipping from "lack of power?"

Swordlordboy1234
Final ohm load, extra battery or batteries and a volt meter would be helpful in this situation. Along with a DD1. Any fine adjustment with clipping helps voltage drop. My voltage drop at full tilt went up by .2 yesterday because I tuned with a -7.5db tone instead of -10... No real difference by ear, maybe even better then it was on -10.. And my voltage stays higher.
