Joe X
And I'm not planning on completely breaking the bank on this haha. The sp4 is out of the question because that alone is out of my pay range and I'd need a much bigger amp which = lots of $$$ Then why say your budget for the sub tops at $500. lolitskasey
Yea I was really leaning towards the BL 18 but just wanted to get a couple of other opinions before I start making any final decisions The BL is a great aub had two BL 18s on a single SAZ-1500d @ .5 ohms daily in my mini van and it surprised people for only 1500 watts. Because that's the budget for his sub. Not sub, amp, and associated electrical. Just because he 500 to spend doesn't mean he has to use it all. To be honest I'm glad he's over budgeted a bit. It sure is nicer than trying to reason with the people who want something that can take 2k on a $200 budget lol. This way he can find a sub that is really a good fit for him vs. Needing to make a sacrifice somewhere ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

Joe X
Going from 1000W to 1500W even with a moderate increase in displacement may not be a really compelling upgrade and more so in a large vehicle IMO.
