i have 10" crachendos in my doors and a SP4 sub. well my old sub was tuned to 44hz so i got lots of high end bass notes but this sp4 i have now is tuned properly to a much lower level. I want to maxamize my mids bass to cover this lost high range. my doors are sealed and i can hear high bass from them but its faint. would door boxes help at all? how would i even go about that?

nothing, gutted

Before you do that you could try adjusting your cross over points?

Yeah, start with crossover points. If you have room, you could try these. I've heard of good results with them.

Your only gonna get so much midbass out of a pa speaker, I have 8 pwx 6.5's and they have decent midbass but nothing amazing

How will speaker tweakers help with the windows down? Best bet is to seal up the door best you can, cover all the little holes with deadener or whatever. You have to leave the drain holes on bottom open, however.

I would just stay infinite baffle for now and not build any enclosures for them. Deaden the door and door panel. Add a couple pounds of non hardening modeling clay to deaden the area around the baffle for the 10". That can help midbass response. The problem is that you have alot of subbass so we need alot of energy to keep up with that. Without knowing some t/s parameters I wouldn't play them any lower than 80hz. I see the amp you have is 370 watts x2. If you have 2 10" and 2 6" on each channel and are running at 8 ohms? Even if it is 4 ohms you have to split the power 4 ways. Either way you are looking at not enough power. It takes some wattage to get some good midbass. If you got an amplifier and put 500 watts on a pair of them after you deaden the shit out of your doors; they will get loud. Then you might have too much. I was running half that on one ten per door and it was impressive.
