Getting rid of the resin smell?

Recommended Posts

Is there a better way to get rid of the fiberglass resin smell that lingers? I recently finished some tweeter pods for my truck, wrapped in fabric and all but I can still smell the resin. I doubt sprying them down with Fabreez does any good, and airing them out is slow. Any secret home remidies?

As other said, it will just go away, air the vehicle keep it shut up tight. Either way it will go away.

Just add some black ice air freshners, it will smell like awesomeness.

If possible try to leave the piece outside the vehicle to fully cure. The stink seems to dig into the interior if you have to glass inside and then you are stuck with waiting like the others suggested.

just give it time, usually 3-4 days it will go away, if it takes over a week and it is still strong, check to see if it is even hard.
