The stretched tires ruined it for me.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

is it the stock block with the stock sleeves or did you re-sleeved the block?

the stock sleeves are not long enough to accommodate the longer stroke and creates wear on the piston skirt. they do offer pistons with the offset pins but builders say its just for the companies to make a quick dollar, is it still not reliable.. to build a reliable 408 you need a tall deck or a LS7 block

That's due to incorrect rod length, pin height, compression height, ring land clearance, etc.

It's stock sleeves.

All those factors were accounted for. Taller deck would be great, but this setup will be mild power wise. I'm not too worried about it.
