Kreg jig is awesome!! Used it to build a box in my buddy's subaru, one of my favorite wood working tools now.

Ken, what I thought of doing was getting a 1x1x? piece for all the joints. Screw it into the bottom, then screw it into the side, or vise versa. (Along with glue on the joint of the box along with where the 1x1 touches.) I just feel like that would be stronger than cleats.

You can do the 1x1 as well. If you tongue and groove your edges it doesn't work as well though imo. The tongue and groove gives you way more edge contact and a stronger seam

I'm sure your aware Gorilla Glue expands significantly, right?

I never tried it on a enclosure after I had it bust a chair leg when trying to glue the horiztontal brace/doweled end together.

It was well clamped, btw.
