dangaranga
Let me put it this way: He calls Multimeters DVOMs - Digital Voltage/Ohm Meters. Never heard that before My auto shop teachers in HS called them that. But the difference was my teachers weren't retarded lol They actually gave me a lot of the electrical "jobs" that came in since i knew so much more than the rest in the class. One of my instructors was in his 70's and had this super old 5-600 amp snap on rolling load tester that had to be completely rewired and restored (was his personal item) Had that puppy in tip top shape in two days lol Brandon 2000 Furd Ranger supercab 4x4 System: welding wire throughout the truck USalts 390amp Hairpin Juicebox in stock location 8 Banks of maxwell supercaps 2 American Bass Vfl 1100.1 wired to .35 each 2 Fi Audio Sp4 18's ( the DD sc 9918's smoked) Pioneer radio with Soundstream PA mids Powered by a nice sized soundstream 2 channel It's pronounced (dain-ja rain-ja) 2001 2 door focus 1 DD9918 SC

MaxVolume
Electron leaks are no joke, leave them wires on overnight and bam, floorboards full of those buggers
_paralyzed_
But you won't get a spark unhooking the negative first. Sure, hooking it back up you might, but not unhooking it. And there are fumes sitting (in the air- is the term "sitting" your hang up?) on top of the battery. That is why you hook up jumper cables in a specific order, to avoid sparks that may ignite the fumes. You do know that lead acid batteries vent right? The leaking electrons thing is a huge WTF though...

finkster
You should ask him why batteries drain when set on concrete. If he gives you an honest answer, then he is stuck in the old days LOL. fosgatefan821
Is there anyone you could report him to or at least address your concerns? Not trying to be a dick but if he is misinforming students that could be bad in the future on a job or even for a interview. 2007 Ford Ranger (ALL YET TO BE INSTALLED - DUE TO WORK SCHEDULES) K&N Performance Air Intake Massive Audio D2400 Mono Amplifier 2 Custom Built 8" Subwoofers in Ported Enclosure Pioneer AVH-P4400BH In Dash Double Din DVD Player (Video Bypassed) 4 - Pioneer TS-A6886R 6" X 8" 2 - SMD Heavy Duty Single ANL Fuse Blocks 2- Stinger SPP1200 Dry Cell Batteries JL AUDIO Interconnects 2/0 Gauge Big 3 ILL Customz 8 Spot Flat Lug Style Bolt Down Terminals ILL Customz 1/0 to 4 Gauge Power / Ground Reducers Factory Alternator __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 2002 Cheverlot Monte Carlo SS - (Deceased) 2 - Rockford Fosgate Power 1501BD 1 - Rockford Fosgate Power 851x Rockford Fosgate Power 6 1/2 Components Rockford Fosgate Power 3 way 6x9 2 - JL Audio W7 13.5" Subwoofers (Sealed) Pioneer AVH-P4400BH In - Dash DVD Player Pioneer AVIC - U250 - Add-on GPS Navigation System Audio Control 6XS 4 Way Crossover / Line Driver Ohio Generator 200 Amp Alternator 3 - Stinger SPP1200 Batteries 1 - Optima D34/78 Battery
