8" midbass driver suggestions

Mount depth is like 3.75 (if I remember correctly). But they are bigger than 6.5", they are closer to 7". The cutout is 5 7/8 (also if I remember correctly).

They are listed in the 250-275 range but oldsoundguy said a call to sonic got his for 225 or something.

Right on, thanks for the info guys. As usual i am just getting ideas together for my summer project after sub stage is done. I figure fiberglass, speakers, wires and time would be a inexpensive summer time project. Plus an improvement in front stage. I still want a SMD VM and build a panel cover to put in dash. Some more TM batt terminals, and 0 gauge for extra grounding. Plus do the body work and paint it this fall. Lots to do and never enough time to do it in before the snow falls again.

Could always take out the kick panel 6.5 and replace it with a 6.5" sub.

No long term thoughts yet but I just got my silver flute 6.5s in. Running off HU power from a xover till I can get them amped up. Pretty decent. Nice punch to them im sure theyd be much better on an amp. I think they have a 8" also.
