Has anyone ever stopped to thing what frequency that bell dings at? And thats just it, its a ding, its not a massive amount of pressure from a pair of 15s on a 5,000 watt amp. Sure maybe that 50 or 30 percent coverage will be great for a simple set of components in your doors that wont flex your doors off the hinges unlike some of the more common ground pounders being built. If you are looking to reduce flex then you need to add mass in which case you need more coverage. As for my doors, I used about 14 sq/ft per door of Second Skin Damp Pro. I also did the inside of my door (behind the speaker area and such): One final word of caution... do not buy "FatMat".
