This isnt exactly true. your cost went up because insurance companies just decided to use obamacare as a reason to raise the rates. there is nothing in obamacare mandating increase cost to current policy holders - there just isnt anything in obamacare that prevents it either, that would be anti capitalist and anti-free market.

Still got this 900$ root canal that I paid for out of pocket, only for it to never be finished apparently, and now that it fell out the dentist wont touch it.

That's what happened with my Mothers plan which I currently am still under, all the benefits dropped, instead of 90% coverage which we had, its now 80%. and the price went up 40$ per month this year, last year instead of having to pay 2 times per month, the insurance company wanted money ever 2 weeks, and the whole 40$ is on top of the every 2 weeks bullshit change. Its just complete bullshit...

my insurance through my work is worse coverage and costs $100 more per month since Obamacare. I do not go through Obamacare. I do not know why it increased. It sucks just the same. my estranged wife is still on it and she bitches at me all the time about what it costs out of pocket now. I told her I know it sucks but it costs me at least 1200 more per year (100+/month) whether I use it or not.
