Syphlyn
I recently purchased a zv4 12. Thing got loud on my saz 2000d at like 50% (h/o alt not installed yet). Had an issue with it and I must say, the customer service is stunning. I was taken care of immediately and they went out of their way to help me. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a good product and excellent C/S. Edit: Also maybe it's just my limited experience, but I believe sundown is leading in the low end reproduction (20hz - 30hz) for drivers. Kyblack76
I see their products doing really well. I actually joined it in a way. I cant answer personally on drivers. I do run basically the same board. But, ive heard peeps, (more like family you could say) that run SD drivers, and i was impressed. Short answer, IMHO, is Yes, the products are legit, price is OK, service is over average. I do like the way they post map pricing. Also, on the driver side, i respect that a hands on builder is on site. Can only say that about a few that do this work. And they started with amps,.... a sundown board,.... is proven. Period. EDIT- also, when i said "builder" above, i ment someone that designs the driver and such. Not just glueing something to something. No offence to anyone. philrab
Their SA subs are legit. Very impressive output on rated power, and commonly held knowledge is that they are well overbuilt and take more power. Looking the sun over closely, it's every bit as well assembled as any other popular brand I've seen befire. I'm sold on Sundown. 2015 Toyota Tacoma Build Thread 2007 Mazda 3; 5000K HID's, Kenwood Excelon KDC-X997, Infinity Reference 6.5 comps in front and coaxials in the rear doors, JL 320.4 four channel, Rab Designs built ported enclosure with an SA12, Kenwood monoblock, Redline Leater shift boot/e-brake boot/center console cover, JBR short shifter/shifter bushings/rear motor mount.
