sideshow_kustom Posted September 29, 2015 Author Report Share Posted September 29, 2015 The factory head-unit was still in the dash & the trim ring had the wood-grain to match the dash. SO I pulled it yesterday & Milled the trim ring out to fit my VU Meters I wanted to run in the dash. It was a PAIN in the butt to machine cause it was hard to clamp up on in the vice & I had to remove thousands off at a time so it would stay still in the vice. But there in & I love how it turned out. Now to add some LED's to it! I got to find some small decals to take the place of the factory one's but I'll figure it out! SO good thing I've got good friends that have talents that I don't have! I wanted some custom art work done on my tail gate. Got a buddy that does Sharpie art work. So I hit him up & ask him to do some stuff on my gate. First I had to get the factory black decals off the Nissan. MAN that glue is TUFF!!! All clean! I ask him not to post any pics of it until it was 100% done so instead he done some teaser shot's & sent to me! Hell I want to see more of it then that! But he's messing with me to! LOL Now this is some of his work he has done 100% all with Sharpie's on his own 720! This is why I ask him to do my Tail gate! I can do a lot of things but this is WAy past me! That old deck you have is so sick, and the work you did to it was genius. idk if you ever saw the picture but i had seen someone post a meme about how an iphone will fit perfectly into a casset player, and how kids of this generation dont even know what those things are really for.
