Someone NEEDS to do this.

Not sure if you've seen it or not, but someone really needs to make this happen, and make it functional:

"Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.

Would be cool to integrate just that portion though. I like that idea and could prove extremely useful to somebody like me who plays music via usb off my phone. Hate when my phone falls mid song and cut out.

Vehicle: 2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD WT

Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-

Mids/Highs: Focal Integration ISC 165’s (front)

Subs/Amps: TBD

The idea is too late.. Ages too late

We have ways to plug an ipod or iPhone to decks. Plus it's a big hole. Why have a big hole when you can have a tiny sd card port that takes no room...we already have better stuff out there

I was just about to say that.

No one is going to steal a stock tape deck.

You could hide a brand new radio in the glove box or elsewhere and leave the tape deck in the dash.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
