why would a want to run a knock off of a sundown?

I mean it's just a logo man. Same parts, different logo. Car audio wire is the same copper most of the time with a different logo. Korean amps are all pretty similar with a different brand on it. I'd go Skar since everyone has Sundown. My 2 cents.

2 completely different companies though, different CS as well.

If its the same parts why not go with the original instead of the one who ripped off the design?

Other subwoofer companies order the same parts from China and put them together. Lot of this stuff is the same with slight variations. Not trying to derail the thread, just throwing out a suggestion.

how would it work sealed? Im trying to do a super simple build in this car, hsk 165's in the front and a single 10 in a prefab in the back all ran off my ampere 125.4
