Wait. I thought there was one amp in protect and one with suden noise ? 2 amps, 2 problems? Did I wake and bake a lil to hard today and miss read?

Having your sub amp protect should have nothing to do with your mid/high amp. Sounds like there's a issue with what's common to both. Which would be the source.

Like other have suggested, just start doing the pieces of elimination. Bypass your LOC and feed signal straight to one amp. If it works, do the same with the other amp. If it doesn't work try a new set of rca's. If that won't work try a 3.5mm to rca straight to one amp then the other. First step is localizing the issue to the Headunit, LOC, or amplifier(s)
