  1. For 99% of the people buying subs, the CF cone is completely useless for anything other than looks. The guys who will actually see the benefit of this cone, are your extreme competitors who are pushing their equipment to the max. One particular situation that these would work for everyday build, is in a multiple sub 4th order setup, or any 4th or 6th order setup where you have subs directly in the port or subs closer to the front of the box next to the port where those sub unloading can become an issue and shred the paper cone. If you really need this cone, trust me you already know that you need it and what the benefits of it will will. For everyone else, its just sex appeal for your sub.

  2. Box is looking good steve, hopefully it sounds just as nice! I wouldn't recommend it 1st reason if you get dual 2 ohm coils which actually read 1.4 a coil you would be running that amp at 0.35ohms (parallel wiring) or 1.4ohms (series/parallel wiring). That amp sure wont take .35ohms. At 1.4ohms that amp wont make much power, especially after impedance rise, and the woofers wouldn't even move with much authority . 2nd reason being that 2 Ascendant Audio Mayhems will laugh at 2500 watts rms on the pair of woofers, and wouldn't even really get moving until you have 4500-5000 watts rms on them. You would be better off going with dual 2 ohm coils and 2 rf 2500bd. Which will be 1 amp per 1 sub @ .7 ohms. If 2 amps is not in your budget you would be better off getting the next model down, like the Havocs and get dual 1 ohm coils (which read .7ohms per coil) and with a series/parallel voice coil wiring config you would be running the amp at a safe impedance of 0.7ohms on one rf2500bd.

  3. New school components, old school techniques.....always one step ahead of the game you are! Tuned! Takes me back to reading CA&E in the 90's......

  4. awesome!! leave it to bigdeewiz to have the isobaric bandpass box on his page, that is OLDSCHOOL shit!! I hope mine works good, i used to really love the ones i built back in the day. They sound amazing, the output isnt as much as a ported box, but I'm sure you know that already. SQ wise you cant get much better though. Some of the best boxes I've ever heard where isobarics. Have you done any frequency testing inside the cabin? I've had the best results doing that and then tuning for the frequency dips for SQ testing. Looks good steve, great (and fast) craftsmanship as always.

  5. It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. this works with many of life's lessons

  7. a 2nd NOS bottle will be on the right hand side and the amps will be on the floor in front of the box ( i think). Thats the plan so far.
