    Maybe while building the box , you could build the woofer in place before closing the box off. Wouldn't be an easy task though.

    Well buddy hitting lows takes a lot. I'm not an expert and can't give you any advice but where I would start is by looking at your box and port dimensions. Maybe start a thread in enclosures section. Post your goals and what equipment you have. It may be as simple as shrinking your box or making your port longer. I think building a new box that would achieve what you want will be cheaper than getting new subs. Also if you get the new subs and don't have a proper box then you could have the same exact problem. Just my 2 cents.

    Well from the looks of it you should have plenty room for 2 15s. But looks can be decieving. If you can take some measurements of your max dimensions and post them for us please.

    Yes they are dvc woofers. They probably offer different impedances so I would check before purchasing to make sure you can wire to the load you are looking for.

      Lots of inventions come from people with no fancy degrees or education.

      Speaking of people with no education that had a huge impact on something since you mentioned an electrical engineer did you know that Faraday had no schooling?

      Fact is lots of the great things in this world were thought up by people with no formal education.

      I agree a lot of things have been made from less educated people, but Faraday got many of his awards 170 years ago or more. It is also now not legal in many states to practice engineering without the proper licenses, doesn't matter if you could pass the exam with a 100%, because of the requirement to have gone to an ABET qualified 4-year college.
