if youre gonna kerf one side of the port, kerf the other too. also 4 cubes with 50 to 80 sq in of port will do good, you might have to go smaller on the port area because you want it tuned soo low.

I do have 2 motors I'd be willing to sell though, and i have 18" baskets too.

how long ago was that? I tried to get some from him recently but the new lvl 6 subs are 9" spiders, so he doesnt have the 10" spiders around anymore

you need to go to a plumbing store for pipe. there are a few ppl that figure out how to make it well and sell for a little while, but usually give up on it

yall must live in the middle of nowhere.. My HT is 2 3way sets with a 10, 4, and tweeter. cheap center, and 2 10s. And I cant even turn it past half way for movies because it rattles the garage door.. But I would like to play 8 18s at a decent volume without worry of neighbors.

Have you thought about clamping the power you are feeding yet with that ns-1? I saw that you said you think the clamp is broke, didnt know if you got a new one yet. im waiting around to find a good deal on a used fluke.

Ive got an NS-1 to 2 of them. this box they are in is about .6 per woofer with a 4" aero, I just rebuilt a box to 1cube per woofer with 40sq" of port and it only takes that power around tuning, but under tuning i have to turn the HU down a couple clicks.

I just built up a box for a pair of them, a little over a cube each, with 40 sq" of port tuned to 34, they can dig down into mid 20s. they are powered by and NS1 and can take the amp around tuning, but under it i have to back it off a bit. but when a box closer to .6 each they could take the full power mechanically on anything.

so you would rather spend a grand to get louder than 30 dollars?

will definitely look into that once i cough up another grand or so upgrading my electrical. may not need all this power now, but won't have to if i upgrade later. why do you need a grand to upgrade electrical when I'm talking about using a different port?

I ran a pair of type Rs in a buddys truck, they did good on 50 sq" of port, flared slot port, on music. and could burp a 50 with 100 sq" of port and still played music, just tuned higher. Your best bet if you wanna stick with the single six is to buy the flared psp port from partsexpress, you probably paid 20 buck for that pipe, but the port on partsexpress is only 30.

the tuning can also change once the box is in the vehicle, and that will change the point where the sub will barely move. Im sure if you take the box out and play it just sitting on the ground the sub will move the least at the tuning it was built too.

Not sure what you mean, But thats the plug they sent with the alt. just and adapter for the stock harness to the alt.

cant go that low No it wont, I talked to dc and they said it ill only fit 94-97 accord 4 cylinder and 95-97 v6 accords.

yeah i know i aint bagging on the people that sell them @ that price (they are great amps) but it just boggles my mind that a 4500 (possibly more output and amp draw than 2 2500s) is cheaper i guess with 2 amps you have more options than one moster one? lolol let me know if he has a bass knob and what not i may be interested they are some sexy "cheater amps" i can most likely do half down right away and the other half before he ships it obviously (got alot of things i can sell for fast cash!) you will get more out of 2500s strapped than 1 4500 anyway. he doesnt have a bass knob, I think the hifonics ones fit them, but i dont have one of those anymore either. Let me know if you decide on it
