I skimmed over this thread, and the race thing keeps coming up. It pisses me off. I grew up in a city full of hispanic and asian gangs, and guess who the cops shot all the time? Hspanics and asians. Now, I live in a very nice city. It is mostly white, but guess who the drug dealers and trash are? Whites. Guess who gets beat down here? Whites. Its all demographics and statistics in my eyes. I hope you all get the just of my statement, so I don't have to try and put my confusing thoughts into words.

Now I'd like more info on the events, since I haven't been following the news too much. Was the cops weapon discharged in a struggle inside his cruiser? Was the cop actulally hit?

Dash cams can be had for $20 on ebay. Not the best, but easily effective.

Just curious. It suddenly occurred to me this guy only has X posts, and they looked like they were all right here. I'm shocked too every article I've read inn CNN about has been quick to point out that a white cop shot a black teen. Finnaly a story not trying to do any race baiting it's amazing. I really would like to know what would have happened if it was a black officer that shot the kid would have even been national news? For some reason I doubt it. Well, I can tell you in NOLA, white kids get shot/the crap beat out of them by black officers all the time, several times during the commencement of Mardi Gras. In case you haven't watched the news, whitey isn't exactly rioting and burning down the city. I think at this point that's what pisses me off about this whole situation. I have faith the truth will come out and justice will be done, but this rioting and back and forth between the police is just nonsense. There's no excuse or justification for it, but people keep on talking about race and how this department full of white cops are just out to keep the black community under their thumb. I'd love to interview the few black officers and see what their take on the situation is. If the department really is overrun with racial intolerance, you'd think they'd be the first to know about it. Kinda makes you think huh?
