Do you ever look at your blank slate and become overwhelmed with all the work that you need to put into it to finish the project? That's probably what I would be doing right now if I had an Astro to do lol -
anyone know of some ideas to mount amp under seat? i was thinking of rubber/plastic extenders to keep the amp off the ground, yet have it drilled into the chasis

Try nylon spacers , you can cut them pretty easily if they are too tall

then what amp would you recommend for 2 SA-12's? my budget is 300 and under. Maybe a amp for each sub? idk, help me out sundown SAZ-1500D v.2 or v.3?

No? if i ran it at 2 ohms it would 850 to each sub right? cuz its 1700 at 2 Ohms is it really? i wasn't sure of the rated out put @ 2 ohms if that's the case, then it should put 850 wrms to each sub, given that there is 100% efficiency and no box rise

if you run them @ 2ohms then shouldn't the output be ~1200wrms though?

I got this works like a charm. but to answer your question, batteries will lose charge over time because lead-acid batteries have a low discharge rate and because of this they are reliable. I would imagine that the fewer cycles that it goes through, the longer the lifespan, but I don't know much one that. I would just listen to xs power

Single DC lvl 4 m2 12" on Sundown SAZ-1500D v2 firing forward in zx2 I hit 139.4db @ 45 Hz.... box rise was 2ohms. box tuned to 34 Hz. Trunk not sealed off yet

I have a couple jobs but my 19 credits an senior project design for engineering are my full time job. Car audio is in the back burner now until I graduate or find a large sum of money lol. I got lucky with the girl. First girlfriend.
