I've never had a problem with it before, I've had probably 50 packages sitting on my doorstep for hours right in the middle and prime of the day and I've never had anything stolen before. And I can't even remember ever getting one that was incorrectly delivered to a neighbor, though I've gotten a couple of theirs before. What are some negatives on keeping the stock battery in front with 2 d1200s in the trunk? Instead of 1 d12 in front, and 1 in the trunk?

I heard that too, about life span. Mostly I heard people say that you needed an isolator between them to avoid charging/depleting issues. But I'm thinking it's not worth the hassle to keep the stock in there and just tossing one of the 1200's in the front and back, and doing 2 runs of 1/0 ofc between the batts.

if it were me id ditch the stock bat unless it is a big one. lower resting voltage on lead acid stock battery will act as a continous load on the agm xs power whenever your car is off. i was told as long as you daily drive it or at least every 3 days drive it, you should be fine. i used to run 1 of each, my buddy runs 1 of each no prioblem. if you go on vacation or dont drive for a while disconnect them from one another

as long as its not a wet cell you should be fine, if its a wet cell then it will slowly discharge the agm batteries, had a buddy who just had to replace his agm and stock cause of that.

I'm running the same 3500w, but I'm going with a 320a alt and 2 D1200's instead of 1 D3100. I think you will be good, but you might see a little voltage drop after enough time, based on your alt doing 260 at least.

Buy new, you are never aware of previous owners use, and how well he took care of them, you also get no warranty buying used, you get stuck paying for shipping, and often times used prices are not much cheaper then new prices with free shipping and a warranty.

Your transmission is probably very different as well as weight, so 3.73 on mine could be = to 4.56s on yours or whatnot. Obviously that's not very likely but you get the point lol

it's not even that bad, it's time consuming sure, but I really am pissed because he didn't give us the conversion for Mass unit Ounces, and I had no clue what the #'s were off hand, so it was impossible to get this bonus question anyway, regardless of his horrible wording.
