  1. Here is the ball joint Im speaking off, one on the pipe and one on the machine. Ideally you want them hanging down from the ceiling to get a better range of motion and not sideways on the pipe, so that is why 2 were used. But it comes down to the ceiling height, and where your able to run your main collection line and not have it interfere with other pipes, sprinkler systems, electrical conduit and so on. Here is another one we did, you can see this above machine in the background of this pic. Here was a ball joint used under a sliding table saw encored to the floor with tapcons. Installing the Kirk & Blum snap together pipe was fun and easy plus you can always unclamp the stuff and change your layout with ease and reuse the same pipe. Also due to it not being spiral pipe and smooth on the inside helped with the it not being as restrictive compared to spiral pipe.
  2. Hang a ball joint center over the cnc router, then use as little as possible of flex hose. Typical flex hose is very resistive to the point of 1 foot of flex hose is equal to 10 feet of hard pipe. There are some flex hoses that are have less resistance than others, but they do cost a little more, but is worth it in the long run.
  3. Its odd that these 2 Sudown first generation 100.2s put this 150watt by 4 Hifonics too shame, and one of the Sundowns has a blown channel.. LOL but for $50 Im happy :D

  4. again, nnot the site. It was massive internet outages causing ip traffic to be redirected longer ways that are congested with other traffic that was typically not seen on those routes.
  5. Im sure you have other malicious malware on your computer, or your using dialup internet.. Google ads are everywhere, not just this site. I have a 10year old computer in the garage that can load this site just as quick as my $6,000+ gaming pc.
  6. Its not the adds making the site slow for you. They are all google adsense ads and dont slow anything down. Something else would be wrong with your computer is my guess. The server was restarted a couple days ago and it was still slow, the issue was out of our control and was a huge internet outage tthat caused your computer to take longer routes to the server, and since the outtage it just made those longer routes even more congested and made them take even longer.
  7. yea slow as hell for me too today, was going to make a status asking if anyone else is having an issue but looks like I got my answer.
  8. flush mount it into your visor fab skills bro fab skills!!!
  9. I really want one of these chargers badly, but I got the big red 12/16volt XS charger. Sadly its a buddies and it sounds like he may need it back soon since he is back in wisco for the time being and not in his cali home. So maybe I will buy one sooner than expected.
  10. 48degrees out, almost 1am. Seems like the perfect time to go outside and fix the once again broken window regulator.

  11. Would love to use 10 gallons of this on my front doors... Im sick of pulling panels off just to fix the door tracks that vibrate so bad it causes locktighted bolts to fall out and slams the window down in the door.
  12. I eat wack rappers like food... chicken noodle soup...

  13. HA, I did the same thing with those fuse holder covers to get it to close all the way with the big copper lugs.
  14. E-mail Tony or Juan at [email protected] to get the issue with your OM-1 fixed, they are the best to talk to since they hand build each unit.
  15. See, I questioned the same thing when BigDWiz put a JL audio 3 channel amp on the amp dyno. It did amazing results, but he tested the 2 channels bridged, then he tested the 1 mono channel. Way under rated, but now is that due to the amps power supply that is meant to power all 3 channels but only powering one channel so it has extra power to throw at that single channel for a higher result. Same thing with the 4 channel, if anything you need to bridge the 4 channels down to 2 channels and then run the amp dyno in stereo mode at needed impedance. Im sure that if your testing all 4 channels or the 2 channels bridged the amp will yield different results than just testing 1 of the channels being dynoed since the power supply is having to drive all 4 channels and not just 1. Here is the thread where I questioned just what you confirmed Fade. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/199311-jl-audio-xd5003-amp-dyno-test/

  17. yes, a 1000watt rms amp would do well for the woofer. Its only 250 watts under the woofers rating, but 250watts is something that is generally not audible. Plus Im sure your amp is slightly underrated like you said. Besides you could always step up to a bigger amplifier down the road if you really wanted to.
  18. not a bad looking amp actually, it did better than I was expecting!
  19. Your on the list.. https://instagram.com/p/7vhDp1IBa8/
  20. I know you can run active on a 80prs, but I do not know if it will allow you to run it in bandpass mode which is what you will need (BPF mode on your amp) which means you will be using the LPF and HPF together to dial in the speakers frequency response.. If they are neopro v1 10s you will want to cross them over at 80 and 5000. If they are the neopro v2 10s you can cross them over a bit lower 60 and 5000. I run my neopro v1 8s down to 73hz iirc in my truck without issue.
  21. Chances are the motor is not as much misaligned as the recone is. You have a good 1/8th inch of movement either way when you glue your spiders to the spider landing (same for the surround landing). So when you bolt on a basket that is prebuilt like tantric offers, it was probably shimmed out right for said woofer they have used for building, but something little off will cause a lot of damage. You could take that same assembly they built and spin it around 6 different times so each basket hole is infront of a different motor hole and it could have a completely different outcome. This is one of the reasons why TC sounds had special threaded on adapters to make this not an issue.
