a single 2 ohm sub bridged on a pair of channels from a 4 channel amp, each channel sees 1 ohm since when bridging the impedance is cut in half correct? Having an argument with my dad about how this works.

I figured, running my hifonics at 1 ohm per channel now and it's running just fine, gets hot as shit after about 30min hard playing but never protected, gonna run it like this only temporarily.

I think both of those would be fair offers for trades. You're sacrificing cone area for more power. So people will tell you "it's your loss" or "it's a stupid move".

well guess what, I don't care what people say haha, these XFL's apparently require much more airspace than 4 cubes gross, and I've had a few people tell me that the HDD's would work great in 4 cubes gross especially when I get some serious power to them, but for the meantime a single HDD in 4 cubes gross tuned to 32hz with a 6" aeroport on my 3.5k at 1 ohm should get down pretty good.

My klipsch Image s4's (all 3 pairs lol) had an EXTREMELY noticeable difference in high end sound after 50 hours, and a tighter midrange after ~100 hours.

i havent had an issue with a red top. just last month my friends car alti gave out and ran it till the battery died. it never came back even though it was new.. 3 yellow tops i seen fail. 100% fail rate in my books

I watched him, JP, and Steve before I knew a thing about car audio. I was of course always drawn to Exo because of how entertaining his videos were. Then I would watch Steve and see how devastating and educated his videos were. I would watch a video about JP and see his horrific wiring. But I would always end up wanting to see what Steve released next because I knew I would always learn something from...
