  1. I'm in Hesperia, but I work in Santa Clarita so I'm at work from 4:30AM-6:30/7:00PM. I only got a single DC level 2, but if your up this way I'll give you a demo Congrats on the new addition man!
  2. I did my kerf with a 2" radius. It was a little tight but it came out fine. Check out my build log in my sig for pictures.
  3. Really like how the doors are coming out. Very nice man! That embroidery looks great too. Everything just looks so natural in the car.
  4. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I sold my ranger( that was registeredto my mom) to a kid that didn't register it in his name and apperantly he got it impounded and never paid to get it out. Well my mom kept getting letters saying she owed the impound fees. Went to DMV and showed them the release of liability that you fill out and they "made a note" and said just disregard those letters.
  5. Wow, she is really scraping the bottom of the barrel huh? Hahaha
  6. Yea that's just the rubber gasket, it comes off pretty easy. Just line up the holes when you go to put the subs in the box.
  7. You fuse to whatever the wire is rated for. So if your using 1/0 OFC then you can fuse at around 280-300, if it's CCA I believe no more than like 180-200. (someone correct me if I'm wrong)
  8. You won't blow your alternator if you wore up a second battery. Just wire parallel (pos-pos and neg-neg) and if its a run of a few feet or more, fuse both ends of the positive wore as close to the battery's as possible. No new for isolators or any of that crap.
  9. Welcome to the forums man...lots of knowledge here.
  10. Looks really good, now hook it up and tell us how it sounds!
  11. Looks real nice man!
  12. Congrats man!! It's always tough starting a new gig, but you'll catch on and feel more comfortable soon. Will you be able to deliver to the high desert
  13. i can splurge an extra $50 If you can then do it for sure. You will thank yourself later
  14. I've heard of this happening before, very sad. In fact, my grandma got a call similar to this one time, but she didn't fall for it.

I think it's silly to drop below what the manufacture recomends if it's a daily setup. If you need/want more power, then buy another amp. Cause eventually the amp running below rated WILL fail and you will need to buy another one anyway
  16. Charge it as often as you can, if that's once a week, then do it once a week. You probobly don't need to do it every night, but I don't think you will hurt it if you do, as long as its a good charger.
  17. Get what? A battery or an alt? Either way, I really feel that you get what you pay for. I'd rather have a good quality made stock alt than a crappy made off brand HO alt. As for battery's, I know the majority of people here use xs but there are a few other reputable brands out there. And don't worry to much about mixing an agm battery with your stock battery, just make sure you charge the agm before installing it and regularly put it on the charger overnight to keep it healthy.
  18. It will be fine. It will add a little bit more load, but it won't kill it right away. Get a volt meter and don't let your voyage drop real low while playing your stereo. You can always save up and get another alt later on down the road.
  19. I think the PTO idea would be more so for having the ability to add more alts that would otherwise not fit under the hood rather than having more tourqe. I think it would be a pretty cool idea
  20. Very nice ranger!
  21. Looks really good man! Are you planing a triangle at the back of the port where the two ports combine?
  22. Off topic, but is that your ranger in your avatar? If so, can you post more pics please! Looks nice!
  23. Shit if you can, take the whole damn motor. You never know what you'll need, and if the need ever arises you will have a spare motor.
  24. I didn't read the article that was linked, but I did read somewhere that 2 other lifeguards quit in protest. I also read that he was offered his job back, but he said no.
