    i've got a second gen ipod touch. dropped the fucker one night. screen didn't crack but the backlight was forever broken. i don't think it powers on anymore so probably needs a new battery. i'd give it to you for 15 shipped. took it to the apple store once after the incident. they pree much said i was fucked after a ten minute look at it lol. told me i could get ten percent off the next purchase there if i traded it in. i was like lolololno.

    sundown subs usually work well in smaller enclosures. i haven't taken much of a look at the airspace you have, so i'm not sure if it's possible in your situation. i'm just saying it's been done lol.

    got a pair of jl W0V2 12's with a custom box i built tuned to 33hz. I believe they're rated at 300 RMS each. had em hooked up to my ZX2500.1 at a little over quarter gain. playing some CD quality music they sounded pretty good. i'll sell them together for $200 plus shipping

    Get some subs that work with little airspace. i've done a 4th order design for a pair of sa 15's in a trunk before, but he had a bit more height to work with. i think he was 4" shorter on depth though. used four 6" ports in this one which was about 14-15 sq inches per cube. almost a perfect 1:2 ratio.

    It is a good rule of thumb. Steve, however, bent the rules slightly It's usually good to manage as much port area as you can while keeping everything else where it should be.

    how did you tune this thing? without looking at numbers, i can tell you right off the bat that you don't have enough port area.

    the port is actually pretty small relative to the box size. therefore it didn't need to be that long. buuutt usually you want to shoot for a larger port. in this case steve didn't have a whole lot of room to allow a larger port, so he did what he could with the space he had.

    HHR ed. said it. it's better to do your own research and come to your own conclusions rather than relying on suggestions of others. also, the product really only determines about 10-15% of how your systems sounds. it's up to the installer to make a product shine. in other words, the product is almost irrelevant, it's the install that's the most important

    There are a lot of brands and choices out there. shop here for a subwoofer in your price range, and one that matches your amplifier. keep in mind you usually get what you pay for. also, read read read read here. learn before you buy.

    I just use a piece of scrap wood and drill two holes that are the radius of the circle. put the drillbit back in the first hole and put a pencil in the second hole and suddenly you've got a perfect circle

    go to the12volt.com to calculate bracing. you need more volume. about 1.2 cubes net at least. you also need more port area.
