    So I ordered 2 Kinetik batteries from Audiosavings over a month ago.Today i find out they received batteries back 7 days afterthey shipped yet I never was notified and was constantly told to wait 30days for them to arrive.Guess it never crossed their minds to actually check what the fuck was going on with the order.So now I'm without batteries that I needed and still have to wait to receive a damn refund. I'm DONE!!!

      have you called them? They are usually VERY good at taking care of customers, even when mistakes happen.

      Yes sir and was told basically it doesn't matter if they shipped them before,once they get returned they wont even try again.Also contacted them by email more than once.To only receive an email back stating I needed to wait 30 days for them to arrive when they already had the batteries back at their werehouse.Batteries shipped on the 22nd of June and were returned to them on the 29th but i was never notified

    So my alternator voltage set point apparently is 15.3 but I thought it was 14.8 So why in the heck does it charge at 14.8 with the blue wire connected and 15.3 without it?

      Fuck, IIRC the blue wire is like a feedback loop in an amp circuit using an op-amp, it's to regulate it basically.

      Yeah i been talking to Anthony at DC and he said that when its not connected the alternator thinks it needs to charge higher and thats why its charging at 15.3.So I can actually do a QD on it so at comps i can charge at 15.3 instead of 14.8 :)

      Or better yet, add wire and wire it up to a switch inside your vehicle to the alt so that you don't even need the QD and can easily do it whenever you want to ;)

      Yeah its the second time recently I come on here looking for a certain sponsor only to find them no longer here.I don't know what happened but it just shocked me to see them gone cause both(from what I could tell)were doing an awesome job.Could have been a business move for all I know.

    So Sonic tells me that they cant ship the Kinetik HC2400 because the listing says its over 70lbs eventhough I have had 4 already shipped here.They said they cant weigh it themselves.I think they just dont want too.What happened to that company that shipped me the other batteries for $12 a piece?

      i use 40 and 80 for fiberglass. and 80 to 180 for bondo. if u sand with 180 itll sand smooth enough that you wont see scratches in the primer. anything lower and you will. i go as high as 240 before primer sometime. just me...

      Im not the expert but I have 2 runs in my Avalanche per alternator and that was with CCA wire.Now I'm switching it out with OFC.

      if you can only produce 270 amps thats really all the wire you need to support it.

    Sorry about 2 statuses back to back but I feel some special right now. I just got a phone call from DC Power letting me know what was going on with me alts.Didn't ask them to call but it made my day for sure.Guess things are turning around over at DC Power.

      Welding some 2x1/4 tubing with a Lincoln 80a wire feeder(I think thats right). I had a friend show me some basics but I have had to pretty much learn on my own. Youtube helped LoL

    Unless you have really good electrical,It's probably better to look at amps that show ratings at 12v.

      RF rates my T2500.1bd @ 2500watts, 12v.  I like that they tell me how much power it makes @ 14.4 also.  Just like all their amps, you get what you pay for and even MORE once the car is running.

      Yep Rockford's CP amps are monsters.I just noticed that most show rated power at 14.4v instead of 12v. This is just one more thing I wanted to take into account when selecting amps for my next setup.
