  2. not trying to start a war here...but remember the whole differential vs single ended amplifier RCA question that Tony brought up. I have Alpine yr 2000 amps, which I would consider oldschool. Anyways no difference with either RCA, as well as my newer amps (pioneer, alpine, JL) Theres literally no difference. The ONLY time I experienced a difference is when I was working at AURA and we had an older 100w wall amp and it would play a distorted frequency when using twisted wires and would be clean with a single ended rca.
  3. thanks for the info cody, I learned alot going into this 14v world. its awesome but damn it adds up in expenses and it can be risky haha
  4. Thanks for the constant information guys, it's making me nervous about running my stock electrical at 16+ volts. Idk if the ecu can handle that... might be going back to boring 12V system...

  6. CJ has it, I'm planning on running my 270 amp alt at around 15.8~16 volts. My question is will my ecu take a shit at that voltage. And if anyone has experience or who I can ask, I'm assuming ford?
  7. As the title states, can I run 14V Batteries in a 98 Ford Explorer SOHC Sport? Looking at the XS 14V racing line and thinking about purchasing 9 batteries if I can run it on my stock electrical components.
