    9-12 is the generic average used for aero ports. you at 9sqin per cube. I'd shoot for more like 10-11 with those subs.

    I say run them. 1 pair in ported box that replaces the center console. Box would be 1.4cubes after port and sub displacement with a single 4" aero port 17" long.

    SA-8 v2 3/4" SD-2-8 1/2" Most 8's you can get away with 3/4" baffle with the rest of the box 1/2". But always remember. If you half-ass your box it will fall apart or sound like crap. And for you haters out there. I put RF HE-2 8's in 1/2" boxes where they lived for 6yrs. with zero problems. So if 1/2 will support HE's, it will support SD-2's.

    What is the biggest box you can fit in your trunk. Gross volume for my box with 2 SP4's is 11.5 sqft. Edit : why did you put an SP4 question in the Sundown section?
