there's a lot going into my next build. On one hand I'm excited because I've never been over 2k rms, on the other hand, I hope this shit work out as planned! Lol

Lol I feel you... It's not gonna be TOO hard of a build, the main thing I'm most concerned with is my doors pods because it'll be my first time fiberglassing! I don't have a problem with the build part. the only thing that'll be different from anything I've ever done is add an extra battery and seal off... nothing major. Its not like im building a wall lol

take the door panels slow, and be patient. I kinda rushed mine and they didn't turn out the best. they aren't bad especially for my first time fiberglassing but they could be better for sure.

I'm definitely going to take my time!!! I'm not looking into finishing this build until november, but I will be pulling my door panels by the end of the month and I will have my enclosure Design from Q of DSS done by Next week. I plan on not only putting it in audio shows, but actual car shows so this will be done as close to perfection as I can. I am pretty handy and have good attention to detail so I'm sure I can pull it off!

Back when I was 17, after buying my first car I auditioned a lot of speakers and ended up buying focals for my first set of door speakers. There were many I liked, but there's ONE particular set that stuck with me thru the years. The Hertz HSK165s. Fast Forward 7yrs Later and I'll now be glassing 2 sets running them active for the ULTIMATE front stage!! I cannot WAIT to start my rebuild! Starting panels next month!!

Does anyone have experince with AA Havocs? What are your thoughts on that sub? And Do those subs like Small enclosures or large?

Thanks everyone for their opinions... I don't find many ppl running them, but I've heard nothing but great things from the mayhems.
Do these subs like big enclosures or would they work in smaller enclosures??

Would 300rms be a huge difference to the ear? I'm interested in the nendo bc2k but after seeing the clamp test on the sympony 1500 being right around 1900, is it worth spending almost $200 extra for a 300rms difference?

Did the front glass and doors help the output since it kind of has something to reflect off of now? Also great work... These type of clean builds give me motivation and ideas for my future upgrade, from the cleanliness of the install to the fact you actually post your problems and how you solve them which helps out others A LOT!!!! Or at least I can say so for myself

Why don't anyone run sealed enclosures anymore? I've never personally had one, but are curious to why There's almost ZERO builds on here with one?

Pictures working fine, no one else seems to be having issues. Maybe you just have a slower internet connection and its taking longer for them to load? Its a possibility... trying to look from my work computer, I remember you did the charger and was IMMEDIATELY Tuned in lol... I'll check when I get home....! Carry on

Would a Crescendo C1100.4 be overkill or perfect for a set of Hertz HSK165XL & Hertz HCX165 (rear fill coax).. Or would the Symphony 800.4 be good enough?

@Jeff I'm Definitely not using rear deck speakers.. its for the rear doors... I'm not trying to get too lud, because that in turns make a lot of weight due to equipment... since i'm lowering my car on springs and not coils, I'm just going to stick to the sa'a on a nendo bc2000d

@snow I thought the same thing, and my last setup I only ran a set of morels on a 2 channel for my front stage... well, I sat in a demo truck like a week ago and he had rear door speakers... and he shut them off to demonstrate the how "rear ambience" that can go missing without something filling the rear and man it makes a BIG difference SQ wise, loudness not a real difference, but DEFINATELY SQ wise, esp with a trained ear (I freelance audio engineer so I have a pretty decent set of...

So I entered the world of Front Stage only because of SMD and enjoyed saving $$ while keeping the sound quality with no rear fill... well I heard a setup that has rear fill but was active and tuned with the proper TA and OMG its sounds AMAZING!!! Esp considering it had 4 15s with only rear coax and a 3way front stage... hmmm too do or not to do!!! (not in the rear deck, just in my rear doors.. say no to 6x9s lol)

Alright fellas, so there are a plethora of knowledgable and very skilled members on this site! There is one thing I haven't seen done that I will be adding to the bag of goodies (information) that we have on this site... As soon as my pictures finish uploading, I will be creating a DIY thread on projector retrofitting

@fourth I sold the last setup to pay off old school debts to be eligible for financial aid now that I am getting back into school! thats took care of and as of now I'll be saving up for my rebuild! life has been blessed

I wish XS Power Made a D3400R .... It sucks having reverse polarity in my car

Flip the battery around backwards, install custom battery terminals made to have the XS power brass battery posts bolt to them. Bam, D3400R.
