How many "secondary" batteries should I run with a 4k setup? I'm being told I need 3 100ah batteries in addition to a starting battery and my Singer 265a. Is this true?? Thats a HELL of A LOT of weight for my car esp being a Daily!!

@Karkov it's more for sound but I don't mind reaping the extra benefits from it... But I'll be getting exhaust, intake and my second set of hertz next week, so I'm getting the best of both worlds!

I Just got the word from Mike Singer that my alt is capable up to a 5k rms system, in which My original plans was for a 3.5k system, so even when I'm ready to upgrade back to my normal plans, I will have a BEAST at hand!!! Well the torch I have is a little handheld one (From Harbor Freight), pretty good for the most part, just doesn't burn hot enough in this weather.. and It actually may be the solder thats cooling too fast now that I think about it

I think my next enclosure build, I'm going to go ahead try the Aero port method... Easier to construct, takes less space then the convientional slot port and more efficient.. Sounds too good to be true, but I'm willing to give it a shot!! Read up on the sticky in the Enclosure section and like what I saw!!

@Boom I actually ended up with Sa's .. Decided to go with a smaller project to start so I can get my car exactly how I want (coilovers, rims, aftermarket sunroof, retrofit projectors) then I'm going to upgrade! I'm seeking more of an overall appeal rather then JUST audio

i have sedan, so 15sq feet was almost 100% coverage. I do crazy deadening though. 200+% deadener on some parts of my car but im a deadener whore
