    ok, ao i got an interview for a position in the IT department today. Manager told me i was his first choice when he looked at what he had to interview. I might lose a little money taking the spot if i get it though. what do? what do?

      same happen to me a few months ago.. i got same pay rate just don't get overtime.. but now i get invited to events where i can meet other people in the same business and that gives me a chance for a job that pays more. you just have to get known

      yesterday i meant this chick that works for a company that i hear are hiring and the pay is good. bad part is no benefits.. once they learn what i know i have a better chance to negotiate better pay and going to those meetings gives me that option. in your case i would take it but try and get at least something

    i would put deadener on metal. rap your knuckled on your door, then apply some deadener, maybe a 6"x6" section. rap your knuckles again and see how it sound. Do the drivers side and not the passenger side so you have a "control" sample to compare to. all deadener is good for in doors is to just keep the metal from resonating. i can go into more detail if you like, but i will leave it at this for now since you have some experience.
