Making it sound good is necessary. That means hours of tweaking and tuning, which gets lame.

I am fixing an audio shops job in my friends Challenger. He insisted on taking it there to put in an amp and sub keeping the factory radio, I offered to do it and he refused now I am on the re-do.

Experienced the same thing a few times..now I refuse to fix shit if I offered in the first place and they passed me up.

Last time I ever tried to help someones bad intall they taped the stock harness they cut to install the radio..fuck that mess.

Got him all sorted out. They used a speaker level to RCA thing and it the wires they stripped going into it looked like they had been placed under a tire and peeled out on. I cleaned all that up under the dash then re-ran the RCAs so they weren't RIGHT NEXT TO the power wire. After that just had to tune the amp, no problem.

I never really stuck with just 1 brand. But I really started liking the Drew Estate Chateau Real and Natural.

I smoke many different cigars, about 2-3 a week and rarely the same kind unless I really like them and buy a box. Punch is just a go-to brand for a good stick, I was in an unfamiliar shop so I bought a Punch PITA knowing that it would be good and it wasn't in the least bit. Poor roll, poor taste, bad draw even after poking it, but it had a beautiful even burn and ash.

a Zapco Ref 1000.4 (grey one) and an Alpine 1505. The Zap was treated to a new preamp IC for channels 1+2 and the Alpine got some new RCA jacks.
