Finally got around to unboxing it...but one of the rarest Panasonic decks out there.  The Panasonic HX-2083N Ghost.  Definitely the last deck in my collection.

Originally I was out to find a Class-T Panasonic deck ( i had originally owned the CQ-C9800) because it had an SQ9 equalizer (fully adjustable) and the sound quality from that deck was the best I ever heard.  Crisp highs and nice punchy mids.  One thing led to another, I found almost all the Class-T Panasonic decks with the Tripath chip in it across the world and said I have to have it ?  As far as the HX-2083N, that is the top of the line Panasonic touch screen single-din which is rare and is an awesome deck.  I've owned the US version of that one before.  Needless to say, they are all free of distortion (I've tested 3 different models with the DD-1 years ago).

What can i say...I am a collector of rare and fancy things ?

I don’t have a picture for every one of my latest purchases unfortunately. Customizing the harley and repairing the damage from my wife wrecking it before I left for deployment. XS power individual caps. Some tools. Some stuff for the kitchen. Stihl weed eater. And some other things. But I did get a picture of this. Apparently, Tony D and Juan came out with a small 40w diamondboxx that’s in my budget, and I don’t have a portable speaker of my own, so I thought why not.574D16DD-0036-43FF-BBBC-491C82A79543.thumb.jpeg.d7a7ce85e118782c0d5defbc25490c2e.jpeg1D0A982E-5086-4790-B554-CEC4C30A4B84.thumb.jpeg.2470be313476df376f7635c3bc7c121b.jpegA4DA4A4C-C3DA-49A9-B61C-86908704BC7A.thumb.jpeg.1cf48be8c59fc5afc446914281e2497b.jpeg

i like it. It gets louder than my wife’s little Altec Lansing “The Jacket H2O”. A lot clearer. Not a whole lot of bass, but I didn’t expect much from a little package. I mostly enjoy how loud and clear it is.

I bought one of these things to crush down some 1/0 and 4 gauge terminals.  As I only needed to do a few terminals, I wanted to keep it as cheap as I could so I paid $20 for it.  After pounding out like 4 terminals I found myself thinking that I should have just spent another $20 on a hydraulic one....  Oh well.
