He's got a soundstream rubicon 2500.1, does 1k@ 4

But from the way he comes off, sounds like his SSF is all the way down, LPF all the way up, gain all the way up, an bass boost all the way up. Possible 8g wiring with a 1farad capacitor and a 40a fuse

Just my guess....his knowledge just comes off that way

Ahh.. i see.

So the box is unloading cause a mixture of it's over sized and playing under tuning on a sub with a frequency response that stops at 31 hz so he claims he's got the uber lows anyways.

sounds legit.

Lol at all the know it all parent types on here.

I've got no problem with the giant box. It's your choice, and it plays the frequencies you want. The 9500 is a pretty decent sub actually, as good as that level 4 IMO, the only MTX i'd use, ever.

As to the cone sinking in, thats strange. As you've tested it on more than one amp, i'd guess it's probably the woofers phase swing, and something about the way power effects it in combination with its flux.

Some advice, when posting a question, put as much info in as possible as to what you are looking for and have tested.

Alright alright order in the court...we have enough evidence to come to a conclusion on the three charges brought against you 1 building a box not to the specs of your sub 2 playing at frequency's too low for your sub and the third charge in thinking your "the man" how do you plea?....
