And I have heard from just about everybody that the box is way too big, and then after they hear it most everyone's first reaction is to say "All that bass is coming from just one twelve?!?!" Even my buddy Kyle (ram1989custom) had his doubts.... And his dc level 4 is much louder than mine in the 38-50hz range..... my mtx kills his from 20-35hz and its only a SVC 4 ohm getting Maby at most 1000rms! - 2003 Jetta GLi VR6 - Kenwood HU - MTX 9500 12'' - Soundstream Rub1.2500

MTX hasnt made a great sub ever. good? sure but not great btw tell me what 20 hz sounds like. Id imagine in that box it sounds alot like the spiders trying to rip themselves from the landing. htanton93 Posted April 26, 2012 Author Report Posted April 26, 2012 No, I was curious about why the sub would do that? Its not about my box, i love the sound of the box and the sub. But when the sub sinks in it dosent effect the sound, it just flexes the same but its sunk in?? I never noticed it untill i looked back at the sub on a 19hz note.
