Location, air pressure, vehicle, resonant frequency, enclosure, speaker and port placement, how the subs react in the enclosure, how the enclosure reacts in a specific environment, different electrical and the list goes on. What would be better, louder, sound cleaner are all guesses but that won't stop people from giving their personal opinions. Of course some are basic questions, but those don't incite the scientific discussion most hope for and the real brain stumpers aren't going to be answered by a hundred different people properly. On some other forums, they allow vs threads. Almost all of those end up with no scientific or thought out answers and they do little to actually help the OP find his choice. And besides, what the OP should be doing is listening to the equipment he is curious about. If that's not possible, look online, ask for reviews, read up on the equipment, and then make a choice. I personally would beaver take 90% of the internet community seriously if I really wanted to buy something. Its not a money thing, but why base off of a biased experience when I don't even know who you are? Its different if we're talking about TaylorFade or Ray, because we know their opinions have fact, experience, and varied testing to go along with their opinion. Opposed to Joe schmoe who built one box designed by 412 but never moved the port and he's judging a sub off of that. Why let him pick your system? Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
