boostin302
i'm around 5k RMS on music with 2 12's with port through rear deck and i cant do it yet. thinking about redesigning my port to see what it does.. IE, not make it a L shape ( 90 degree turns) but making it with some kerf in a 01 mustang gt but from what i've heard from other people, it is hard to get loud in these cars in the first place. OrionStang
My best was 148 at 33hz sealed on the dash. Pair of Hams on an AB750.1 @ .5. That was without sealing everything off, and without testing all the stupid shit like visors down and air vents taped up. Guess it wasn't loud enough, 'cause there were plenty of people still talking shit. For a Mustang, and at that low freq, I am satisfied. Especially considering there was never any helpful tips, just down-talk. HOWEVER, the Neon is a totally different beast. Unfortunately, i've got no audio experience with one. Nightshade
Tuning of the enclosure is going to be the biggest thing. jmanjr82
Op in your original post you stated 0.5 for load on the amp any specific reason for doing this? Are you going to have the electrical to back that up? A 7k amp ran at 0.5 ohm is going to have a very serious effect on amp draw and output. Your voltage is going to drop so damn fast you wont even have time to react. My vote is a pair of 5k amps strapped at 2ohm.
